I honestly have no idea what to say about this. The idea of changing the design of the costumes.... Even superman's "S." How much are they going to change? Are they going to keep is going to happen at the end of flashpoint?
I want to know what's going to happen to Grant Morrison's Batman and Robin, Batman Inc, etc. And I'm going to kill someone if I have to deal with everyone's origin story again.
well..... I dont know, i kind of like the idea, but im with brian if they change those batman series, lives will be lost. and i dont really mind the costume changes, i think its about time. although it could end up being a disaster.
If this ends up being a DC version of Marvel's Ultimate universe then I completely support it (but only if it runs side-by-side with the current continuity as the Ultimate books do in Marvel).
It was a complete reboot/update to get new readers. Nick Fury is black, Peter Parker was the Daily Bugle's webmaster instead of photographer, Spiderman isn't in the Avengers yet (which are actually called the Ultimates and the Avengers are the black ops team, more or less the Dark Avengers/Secret Avengers in regular continuity). Gwen Stacy is still alive, Norman Osborn actually turns into a giant devil monster instead of just flying around in a goofy suit, etc.
Basically its a completely separate continuity from the regular Marvel universe. Fear Itself, Civil War, etc, don't affect it.
